This is the RP journal for Knil Darke:

Knil is a doppelganger, meaning that his physical form may change depending on the circumstance. He is in a borrowed form currently and will begin to show his true form as time goes on.

Character’s Age at Time of Appearance through the Portal: 19

Character’s Appearance: Knil has dark steely gray hair that is somewhat tousled but kept back with an elastic tie. His cold complexion make his dark red eyes stand out. He wears a tidy black button down shirt with a crisp white undershirt beneath. He has a wallet chain that falls against pressed cargo-style khakis. A well worn metal cuff and chain links hang from his right wrist and a triangle tattoo rests on the back of his left hand.

Items the Military Specifically Confiscated from this Character: A legendary sword that is obviously very old, but never tarnishes.

What Universe This Character is From: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (appears in several of the series as "Dark Link" or "Shadow Link")

General History: The story of this doppleganger began in the depths of Lake Hylia, behind the doors of the water temple. He was conjured into being by the Dark Lord's sorcerers to be the shadow image of the Hero of Time. While he never physically experienced any of the hero's upbringing, he bears all of his memories just as he had been there. He is a tainted being that houses all of the hero's darker qualities; jealousy, anger, bitterness.
Though he was the hero's anti-thesis, he was still innocent. He didn't understand the rage that came over him as he was confronted by the real thing. They fought and when he failed to stop the hero from overtaking the temple, he was punished severely. After more than a year in squalid confinement, he made his escape and caught up to the Hero of Time, just as he was replacing the master sword upon its pedestel, seeking to return to his own time. Knil followed the reason and the bane of his existence into the light.

Knil works in the campus library and is also a student.

The implanted traits and memories have nearly comepletely faded with the military's administrations. They will not return since they were false to begin with.
His creators have not forgotten about him. Though it is through the stretches of time and space, he can and will still hear a faint calling, summoning him to finish his duty. As time passes, he will begin to find his true form and shed the shell created for him.

Birthplace: the water temple in the bottom of Lake Hylia in Hyrule

Haircolor: dark ash grey

Hairstyle: tousled, stopping just over the tops of his slightly pointed ears

Complexion: grayish bisque

Eyecolor: red

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 159lb

Build: slightly on the short side with a tight compact muscle structure

Distinguishing marks: on the back of his left hand there is a large triangle made of three smaller triangles - the top and left small triangles are dark grey while the one on the right is golden

Formal Clothing: black suit jacket, light grey button down shirt tucked into black slacks (he avoids wearing ties, he hates them)
